Im locked out of programming. I know the IC code but how do i get back into programming. I have a Ademco vista 20p and a 6270 screen. Is there anyway to do a master reset for the whole panel?

try the ic +800 this will get you in to programming

If you exited with *98, the only way back in is with the * + # within 50 seconds of system power-up.

This _must_ be done from a conventional keypad, you cannot do it with a touch screen keypad (You _do_ have at least 1 conventional keypad per the installation instructions?).

This all assumes, of course, that no changes were made to the *88 programming location (which changes how *98 behaves).

This is what I don't want to happen. What is the correct way to exit programming when finished entering the commands so that you can re enter later without this problem?

*99 as per the installer instructions.

This is what happens when you go to the bathroom and your roommate wants to see the unit before i finished programming it. Idiot :wall:
