Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to repair the lines and dents in my engineered oak, polyurethane floor received when my new refrigerator was put in? I also have some dents from high heeled shoes here and there. Can I use steam from an iron? or do I have to have the floor refinished?

Engineered floors usually cannot be refinished because they only have a very thin vaneer layer of wood. You will have to find a matching wood filler putty.

Hi Can any expert helps?

I have my builder to have my hardwood floor done. There are a lot of nail holes and hair line cracks in the middle. They said they will replace the cracks by using glue (not nail because I do not want extra nail hole) and fill the nail holes. Will this causing me trouble afterwards.

Thanks

Board replacement, in both issues.
