I have an old Charmglow HEJ-1T grill that will only light when set on Hi right if it is cold. Once I light it the flames are low until it warms up then the flames get to normal size and I can turn it to both right and left sides of the burner. The burner, venturi tubes and orifices are clean. I checked for leaks arount the valve and regulator and other connections and there are no leaks that I could see. What could be the problem?

Is the grill a free standing grill? Meaning a grill all of it's own?

Or is it part of an oven/broiler cooking stove?

Indoor or outdoor grill?

What type of grill?

BBQ grill or flat iron grill like those used to make pan cakes?

Natural or propane fuel?
