Now I have broken the rotor trying to get it off. Most of it is still in place. How do I get it off?

I got the rotor off today by putting a long 1/2" open end wrench under it and hitting the wrench with a hammer. It was very rusty on the shaft it mounts to. Sanded rust off and added a light film of grease before installing new one.
