I hired a contractor who recently installed a pre-engineered wood floor using the free-float installation method, with a foam and cork underlayment over ceramic tile. Everything looks great however I am now noticing that in one area, two wood planks (adjacent to each other) sink down/spring up when I walk over it.
Are there any suggestions on what could be done to fix these two problem areas?
