I just had new windows installed and I have several loose bricks on the outside of the house, how and what do I do to repair these? I also have several areas that need to be filled in please advise.

Thanks

clean the mortar from the loose bricks and re-lay them with some mortar mix. if the joint between the bricks are rounded use a piece of dowel rod to smooth the joints if you don't want to buy a jointer. do not add much water the your mix so that the new morter is pretty stif when placing that will make it easier to work. if the bricks are under the window you will need to use a tuck point trowel to push the mortar under the bricks to help raise them back up to the correct height.
