We just purchased a new home with a demco vista 20p/ps alarm system and I have no information at all on using it. We contacted a local alarm company and they wont come out to set it up unless we sign up for monthly monitoring. I even offerred to pay a service call fee and they said no. We have downloaded the pdf user manual but cannot do anything as the master code is no longer set to 1234. We want to setup/add users and need help. I think we need to delete previous users too? Please help a couple of old electronically challenged individuals

If you read through the archived posts and the FAQ for this topic, you will get a lot of the answers you need, including the basic steps to get into the system programming and view or change the installer code, which you need to change the master user code.

You can get the installer manual by using the phrase: "installer manual Vista 20p" in a websearch.
