I have a DSC 1500 or 1550, but think it's a 1500, anyways, I'm trying to stop the unit from beeping while it's arming itself, I've shut off the door chimes, but I can't seem to get it to stop beeping while it's arming itself, even when I do the quick arm it still beeps for 45 sec or so. Is it even possible to shut off the beeping.

If you arm in stay mode, the keypad doesn't beep during the exit delay.

I've look though the users manual and I can't find anything on how to arm the system in stay mode....:wall:

My apologies, I forgot how primative this system is. This thing will go automatic stay mode if you arm without opening and closing an entry/exit door, but there is no way to manually set it so.

If you have access to system programming, the keypad exit audible is turned off by tuning off option 1 in programming location 34.
