Has anyone had any success programming the Ademco 5843 Wireless Switch Module?

For reference, here are the instructions I am following: http://site.doityourselfsecuritysystems.com/files/receivers_etc/5843_install.pdf

I've attempted to enroll a 5804 transmitter, but to no avail. The relay state does not change when the keyfob button is pressed, nor does the yellow light flash.

Now, the red led no longer flashes when powering-on with dip 2 set to on like it did originally.

I also have tried to erase the eeprom, but I can't seem to get that to work either.

Can someone provide any assistance?

Thanks!

I will assume that you have verified 12v power to the receiver.

This is hard to diagnose without seeing you trying to work this thing. Among of the quirks is that you have to change the position of the dip switches within a pretty narrow window of time, or the the thing ignores you.

I am also assuming that the keyfob in question is not already enrolled into another receiver.

The only other thing I can think of is for you to remember that the normal operating mode requires all of the dip switches to be in the off position.
