I have had my floor ripped out 3 times because of problems with the concrete not being level. They have patched it up using cement and tried to smooth it in these areas with some success. There was foundation work done but they said the concete was still uneven and they couldn't put too much cement down without building it up too much. So there is some humping. There are still 2 spots where if you tap on the laminate you can see it move (as if thre is a dip) or there is slight spongy feeling if you have no shoes on.
Is there a filler you can use? I have seen people mention shingles or felt?
Also is it bad for the laminate to have is taken apart so many times? Will these imperfections get worse over time if not fixed? It is an expensive Kronotex brand.
If I can fix these couple of spots I can definately live with it, even though it is obvious laminate was a mistake in this case.
Thank you!
Joel
