If anyone knows the specs of our A/C unit. It is older, so I have no literature for it nor can I find anything and I am curious exactly how old it is, and how many tons it is, etc.
It is a KeepRite, model SSC-19-1E. It's rectangular, pretty low to the ground, and green.
It is a great older unit, only one simple problem in 10 years of using it (breaker replacement in disconnect).
Thanks if anyone has any info., again this is just a matter of curiosity.

Probably the best way to go.
Ask for the IOM any service bulletins and a wiring diagram.
They should have pdf's to forward. Might be easier to call, get a symathetic ear.
