:wall: Bought this unit used, MAV 7757 and it wouldn't spin. We live in a small Texas town and we're new to the Rio Grande Valley. I called a repairman who is a local, he took the front off and behold, it was miraculously spinning! He looked at it however, and said he thought the bearings were going out, that the spin cycle seemed too loud, though there is absolutely no evidence of water leakage...so we did nothing that day. Two loads later, and it is not spinning again. I've read some of the other posts, and don't believe this man knows what he's talking about. I've called Sears and they can't get out until Sept. Any hints on what it might be?

Had 1 of those the other day that would not spin. The lid switch was bad. Take the 3 screws out of the top of consul and front of consul will come off. move the wires to the lid switch with the machine plugged in and in spin cycle. If start to spin switch is bad. Also get Pin that works the switch. Here is a link to the parts

parts 3,7,8,9 are what I would get if the switch is bad
