I screwed up. My wife bought some grout / tile sealer for our new ceramic floor. She went away for a day and, to surprise her, I got down on my hands and knees and applied the sealer over the entire bathroom floor. She got home and I got grief because the tile was glazed and I was only supposed to seal the grout. There is now a haze on the tile. Is my mistake uncorrectable? Is there something that I can do to return the glaze finish to the tile? Please help. Thanks

What sealer did you use? Did you wipe off the excess after a few minutes?

I used TILELab 4CARE Grout and Tile Sealer. The instructions said, "If residue is visible on surface after drying, remove it with water and a sponge or white polishing pad 60 minutes after application." I used a sponge and water after about an hour.

I don't think you read all the instructions carefully. It also says, "Allow to penetrate for 10-15 minutes. Wipe off excess."
You can try reapplying the same sealer and wiping it off immediately. Just do a little test area first. A little elbow grease may be necessary. If this doesnt work, contact custom building products to see what they have to say.:)

You're right. I guess I misunderstood the directions. I didn't see any "excess" so I waited the full hour. I'll try your suggestion. Thanks.
