My wife & I just purchased our first home that came with the refridgerator. The water lines were disconnected and when I pulled it out to reconnect it appears that the water valve has been completely removed. Can anyone suggest where I can find repair manuals or detailed diagrams online. I am also unsure of the part number for the water valve. Every online part supplier I see shows it as #800 in the exploded diagram view but no part # is given. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. This is a GE TFX22GRBBWW side by side that dispensed water and ice from the door.

I believe that the water valve replacement is part number WR57X0010 or WR57X10012. Are there online diagrams of it's installation?

Water valve part # is WR57x10012 for your fridge. Your going to have to take a guess on the water lines. Once you hook it up try the water dispenser. If water goes into ice maker instead of out dispenser, reverse lines at valve.

Thank you for your assistance. After I installed the valve and connected the water lines I did end up filling the ice tray when I tried to use the water dispenser. After switching the connections everything is working.

Pulling the cardboard backing off did give me an opportunity to vacuum all of the dust that had accumulated.
