This is a panel that does read "ADT" on it. I mention it only because I read on another forum something about proprietary boards and someone couldn't get it to operate at all.
It says ADT 1-800-whatever.

This panel works fine. The keypad works, the alarms all hooked up to it work like a charm...no faults and I get the localized alarm for fire.

I can enter the programming, have read the 300 page manual and have changed multiple things.

Problem is, when I turn the board on, I can not get the *amn dialers to stop sounding the fault alert where it says check dialer 975, 974 (it apparently has the secondary option). It has no phone line connected to it. I don't plan on hooking one up.

I have entered the programming with the following:
Installer Code + 8000
*94 until I get to the 300 view
entered *30 to get to where it says "Dialer"
Entered 0,0 (one number shows at a time) and the panel beeps three times. Entered *99 to back out until the system exits programming mode.

After it resets, I get the same thing. It doesn't seem to matter if I enter 0,0 1,0 or 0,1 it still gives me 974, 975 fault on both dialers. Is there anyway to turn off these things completely? Am I missing something?
This is driving me insane after three hours.

Thanks experts.

With ademco design panels, you shut off the dialer by deleting the phone numbers programmed. Try entering *33* and *34*

With a panel setup by ADT also enter *35* to delete the remote dial in number.
