Hi. We are the owners of an old hidebed. We have had it about 10 years, and it was about 25 years old when it was given to us. Some of the springs that hold the hideabed mattress to the frame have disappeared. I would love to be able to replace them. Don't have any idea where to purchase said springs. Would any of you have any idea?

Have you tried Maplins. Very good for things like that. They can usually order them in.

I've seen replacement springs in both Home Depot and Lowes, in the specialty fastener drawers. You could take a measurement of the length and diameter of the springs (or actually remove one for comparison) and see if they had a similar replacement.
