Two year old kitchen faucet making a whistleing noise when turning hot or cold water on.It happens more often on hot water side.

If this is happening on both, the hot and cold sides, the problem must be in the faucet. I would start by removing the aerator and see if it still makes the noise. It could just be a dirty aerator. The aerator is the chrome thing with the screen in it on the end of the spout.

If it is a pull out spout, you might want to take a look under the sink for the flex line to be pinched or collapsed. It could also be caused by some kind of restriction, such as dirt or something. The problem must be after the hot and cold mix, and before the water comes out of the spout. If it only was a problem on Hot or Cold, this could be something else. Make sure you are checking this with the faucet with hot or cold ONLY, not mixed.
