It's nice to have a hook up at Honeywell! :) I'm gonna
play around with this new panel, which is not even
available to the public yet, and see what it can do.
And check out the wireless CO detector!

Yes, my Honeywell rep had hinted about this panel. It has a built in IP communicator. What else does this thing have?

It's basically the same as a vista 20P but with built in
internet connection. You need an Alarmnet account
in order for it to work so don't worry about customers
cancelling central station. Here's a quick video I just took
of it with an FA touchscreen connected to it.

We sell alot of the Total Connect services, so this would be great for that. A few features I would like to see with the Vista series:

1.) One touch arming: pressing and holding the 2 button arms to stay...etc.
2.) 16 zones onboard or an expansion board that plugs and plays.
3.) Built in wireless receiver.
4.) 5804 keyfob with "two-button" panic.

I love Honeywell stuff, but got a bit spoiled when we started using the GE Concord 4.:)

1) You can program the A-B-C or D button for one button
arming in any mode you choose.

2) You can zone double on board, but I don't prefer doing it,
and you can purchase a 4219 zone expander that only gets
wired to the keybus

3) You can install the 6160RF instead of the 6160 and you
have your built in wireless receiver upstairs instead of the
basement where the panel usually goes

4) I'm not sure the model #, but Ademco has a wireless
panic button where you have to press 2 buttons at the
same time. And you can program any of the 4 buttons
on the 5804 to do anything you want for example, silent
panic, audible panic, medical panic, etc.
