I am Upgrading my patio area which is presently Stamped coloured concrete, I would like to Tile over this area,I know I will have to select the correct type of outdoor tile ,but my problem is preperation of the concrete for bonding ,any tips or advice would be very much appreciated,

Just make sure the concrete is clean! Then use a good modified thinset like Flexbond.
Where do you live? Typically what are your temperatures in the winter?
You can use a porcelain or natural stone outside.
Do not tile directly over any expansion gaps.
