This satrted when i got my quad up north (6500 ft). I live and usually ride at 1200 ft. I thought jetting would be an issue but it ran ok by just removing the snorkel for more air. Well i looked at it when it wasn't running and it had a constant drip from the overflow tube at the bottom of the carb. It ran fine other than that and didn't drip while running. Now that I have it back here (1200 ft) and reinstalled the snorkel it wont stay running at idle and is hard to start after it dies?? Petcock? Sticking float? It's a low hour bike and hasn't sat without running for any length of time.. HELP!

It would be in the float or float valve. If you have access to the parts, I would just replace both. When you reassemble put a light pressure up on the float against the valve to make sure it's shutting the fuel off.
What you have isn't directly related to altitude.
