I moved into a town home and it has a pre-installed DSC pc1616 system, however, I didn't have a phone line to have it monitored because I chose to use a mobile phone. So my problem is I now have a digital phone line through my cable company, but the cable tech. had no clue how to connect the phone line to the panel of the dsc 1616. I have a GE security 10 port telcom module mounted right beside my DSC 1616 panel. I just don't know what I need to do to connect the two so they both function, so I can get my system monitored. I'm pretty new to this stuff, I appreciate any advice. Thanks, in advance.

The basic rule of thumb is that when you use these digital phone systems, the phone adaptors are essentially your telco.
