its a scotsman c530 when i remove the front panel its giving me a blinking 2 which means "max harvest retrying" im pretty sure it gets paralized there
any suggestions on what this could mean woul d be greatly appreciated

If the machine is having problems in the harvest area there could be a number of things wrong that would cause this.
The most common would be that the machine needs descaling or the plating has worn off the ice forms.
The instructions on to clean the machine should be on an inside panel and make sure you use a nickel-safe descaler.
Some descalers can remove the plating that keeps the ice from sticking during defrost.
Another thing to check is if the condenser coil is dirty if your machine is air cooled.
Any more than cleaning would require the services of a refrigeration mechanic familiar with ice machines.
