(This may be searchable but with no toilet, you can understand we have an emergency here)
While replacing the inlet valve, I brushed my hand against the filler tube & it broke off about an inch from the bottom. The reminder of the tube is very brittle so I guess that's why it broke so easily.
How do I replace the filler tube? It looks like it is all one piece, including the outlet hole & gasket. How is it attached to the tank?

Replacement tubes are available at home/hardware stores. But you will have to remove the tank to do the job. There are 2-3 bolts that hold the tank to the bowl. Usually a screw slot on top and nut underneath. Once the tank is off you will see what is needed. Remove the large nut from the bottom of the fill tube after removing the foam/rubber washer. Make sure the new washer has the same profile(there are several types), or you will have a leak.
