I have recessed lights in my kitchen and two of the fixtures burn out bulbs as soon as I put the bulb in it. The house is seven years old and this happened suddenly. The wattage is 65, which is fine for these fixtures. They are burning out instantly in two fixtures adjacent to one another.
Please advise.

Those light bulb should not burnout that fast unless something mess up with the lighting circuit.


Did other luminaries in the house are steady brightness ?? if so then you may have issue with connection either at the swtich box or junction box.
