Any ideas for getting rid of Aphids on outdoor flowers in pots?

Spray every 5 to 7 days with insecticidal soap until they are gone. Best to spray in the very early morning or late evening when aphid predators are less likely to be active. You can even make your own.

I realize ladybugs are not always reliable because you can't put tiny leashes on them :p , but they love to eat aphids. You could order some online---they ship them to you live.
