I have a cracked drain pan on a Goodman Manufacturing (Janitrol) model # A36-10. It is cracked around the drain pipe hole and on the bottom. I have attempted to patch it, but it is still leaking due to the location of the crack.
My question is: How do I get the drain pan out. Unfortunately, I cannot just lift the condensor and slide it out, as the pan is screwed to the condensor unit on the front and back. The front screws are easy enough, but how the heck do I get to the back screws??? The unit is in a closet and the back is virtually inaccessible. Is there some secret to replacing the pan, other than paying a technician to come and cut the copper pipes, remove the entire condensor and replace the pan??
Thank you.

Sorry, by condensor I actually mean Evaporator Coil.
Thank you.
