I am looking at the Kohler archer tub: http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100604939&N=10000003+502513+10401013"
or the kohler devonshire tub:http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10051&langId=-1&catalogId=10053&productId=100054581&N=+502513+4294965152+90401"

i am interested in these b/c they are just simple tubs, to be used 3 wall alcove, and mostly as shower, but for occasional soaking. Good choices? Is acrylic worth it for the money? Are they gna flex much when fully loaded? any thoughts are appreciated.

We did the deep Devonshire in our new bathroom remodel and love it. It was easy to install and does not flex when full or more so when 6'5" 250 me broke foot and had to use it for a few months:( .

The deep one in biscuit was a special order but we did not mind. We battled between drop in or shirt and eventually went with a shirt because of space.

We actually did Kohler every thing in both out bathrooms and have been very pleased.

Good luck!

thank you very much. i had actually just decided yesterday which one to get. We picked teh devonshire because it does not have the slotted overflow. I was kinda skeptical about the archer because of the slotted overflow. Now that i've heard your review, I am even more pleased with my decision.
