how do you remove stains from a stainless steel kitchen sink? Some of the granules from my pool chemicals (I believe The ph decreaser), left dark spots on the sink. I don't know how to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

acidic chemicals, which you indicated was in the sink, will pit and damage stainless. Stainless polish being buffed in with a very fine steel wool may improve the appearance. But the surface itself is damaged.
