I have a deck that butts up against two walls with a valley above one corner. The deck extends about three feet past one wall. I want to cover the deck but don't know how to tie into the existing roof. Can someone help me and if possible provide drawings or pictures.
Thanks
Thanks

How high are the walls? one story or more? And what are the dimentions of the deck?

Also, what is the pitch of the two roof lines, and how high are the peaks on both roof lines from the edge. You have your work cut out for you, as you will have to move the valley, or change the angle of attack of the valley.

Thanks for the reply. The deck is 12' X 14' and the wall is single story. I believe the roof pitch is 8-12. I am not a carpenter so I hope this helps.

This is a project I would not recomend for a beginner do-it-yourselfer. You should really post some pictures of your situation and take some real measurements if your looking for some serious help.
