Each time I save to the panel with the dls software it resets the installer code to default and does not set many of the basic settings like zone info. After changing the enrollment of the keypad from 11 to 18 DLS now sees the keypad and the rf module in the keypad (power 632 rfk5501-433) but will I can't find where to add esn info or set chime sounds .... etc.

Thanks for any guidance.

In my opinion, the DLS software is more trouble than it's worth for DIY installers, you still need to understand the basics of DSC nomenclature and terminology to get anywhere with it. It was really intended for installers making multiple similar installations.

That said:

When you make changes to the account database, you need to save it before you try to upload it to the panel. The software actually loads what's stored in the database file, not what's displayed on the screen.

There is a keypad icon that you have to click on to access the keypad programming. Likewise there is an icon for the wireless receiver.
