I have a yard machine push mower that seemed to have developed some issues.
It starts up fine and runs good but as soon as i move it (just shake it back and forth a bit) the engine starts to slow down and then stall.
Also when i pulled off the air filter it was soaked with oil...
I don't know enough about engines to have an idea where to start troubleshooting. I did an oil change a while back and installed a new air filter.

Sounds like maybe you put too much oil in it. What does it show on the dipstick ?
At any rate, the air filter can't be soaked with oil for it to run.
Post make, model, type, code, etc. of engine.
thanks,
