I installed a new 50 gallon electric water heater yesterday and ran new electrical wiring. This GE model is working fine and I have no issue with hot water now. Unfortunately, my bathroom vanity faucet isn't working at all even though it is inline with the toilet and tub on the cold water line and the tub on the hot water line. The toilet and tub are working fine. When I turn the handle, it is as though I have the shutoff valve closed - which I don't. Any suggestions on what to check? By the way, the home was built in 1927, but the plumbing is only about 20 years old.

I keep forgetting the name of the thing but replace the piece that holds the screen at the end of the faucet.

It is called an aerator and I would agree to check it.
