hello I have a 1 piece tub enclosure that has a broken clear acrylic handle. The handle appears to be approx. 21inches long and approx 1in outside diameter round. A section is missing out of the middle I have about 1 1/2 inches left on one end and probably 4 inches on the other. I have not been able to find any type of repair kit for these do you guys have any ideas? I cannot of course access the backside unless I tear the wall off the house LOL looking at the new 1 piece shower tubs at the big box stores the handles appear to be fastened with styrofoam spray and probably some type of mechanical fastener.

Could you post a picture of this 21" long handle? I've got to see this. Post it on a site such as photobucket.com and copy/paste the HTML code in your reply post.

Yeah I will try to post a pic. This is a rehab house that we just bought so I have no idea how this could happen. I do know that these handles are very strong so it does look a bit unusual I can almost imagine some kinda wild party going on in the tub YUCK LOL. The enclosure is in good shape other than the handle so I want to save it. Every dollar counts on a rehab project.

Chandler...I'm thinking a grab handle moulded into the tub surround?
Most I've seen are more like 10-12", and mounted horizontal...but I guess there could be odd ones.
