I have 2 problems with my alarm system. Our alarm system has the fire/smoke detector connected to it wirelessly. I want to deactivate it from the panel because I have an error on my security panel that says "Fire Trouble 14". I have tried clearing this error and deactivating this device but it did not work. So this is problem number 1 I would like to deactivate the fire/smoke detector from the panel.
The second problem is that we just had a new door put on and the alarm is connected but I still have a check error on the panel for this door. What can I do to fix the error so the alarm with work on this door?
Please help!!
Thanks!!:)

Sounds like you have two tampers, one from the smoke being taken down, and the second from the door contact being swapped to the new door.
First, ensure the RF door contact's cover is firmly seated (tap it with your hand). Second, make sure the smoke detector is fully seated in the mounting ring ( turn it as far clockwise as you can). To clear the tampers, enter your code +1, code +1.

I have done that several times, enter code +1, enter code +1 but both errors are still present. Any other suggestions?

Have you simply checked the battery on these wireless transmitters? When they go dead enough, they simply show the zone as open.

If the door is hardwired, have you checked to make sure that the magnet is properly aligned with the contact?

Yes I have replaced the battery in both and still both have errors.
I did check the alignment and it seems to be OK, but still has an error. Any other suggestions.
I would like to just deactivate the smoke/fire detector from the panel because we are not hooked up to ADT anymore. Any suggestions?

Which keypad do you have? You must have the full alphanumeric keypad to access the zone programming to delete a zone.

It _can_ be done with the fixed language keypad, but it is difficult, because you cannot see the prompts you need to do the job.

You will need a manual. The SW 3000 is a modified Vista 20p.

Websearch using the phrase: "Vista 20p installer manual".
