I need to either reface or replace my cabinets doors and drawer fronts in my bathroom base cabinets. Can anyone give me refinishing or refacing options. The fronts are white solid core laminate and I want to go to something black. I have a very contemporary house, so it could be something unusual. The only wood fronts I might consider would be similar to my bedroom cabinets, which are a black lacquered ash but the grain in very visible. Thanks for any ideas and help. I'm handy and will try most anything, including laminate and paint techniques, just need to know how to go about it.

I have seen a few projects doing over cabinet doors and priming that were great but I have given thought for my project and feel that cabinet base primed and new doors give an excellent look and there are so many types of styles from classic to contemp types of styles.

the project of kitchen was rather inexpensive so I imagine a bathrrom job would prove to be even more affordable.
