Hi,
I am a female, house sitting for a couple in Korea and my one job was to keep the grass cut. I never used a riding mower and have not been able to find the owner manual. The model is 309000X8. I used it to mow along the driveway on rough terrain, often disengaging the blades as I was told to do. I heard a sort of clanking noise from near the steering collum so I drove it back to the house. I couldn't see anything wrong, so I got back on to start it and it wouldn't make a sound when I turned the key (in neutral, with brake and clutch depressesd and blades disengaged.) It has gas and oil is fine.
Any ideas?

If you get no click or noise at all when trying to start, you may have a blown fuse. Many murray mowers have the fuse under the steering wheel area behind a small black door that is held in place by 2 phillips head screws.
