I need to replace the pull cord on my older Homelite trimmer but the red plastic housing is all one piece and needs to slide off over the clutch. The clutch is mounted on the crankshaft and no obvious way to remove it without bending the thing. Any help here?

Ha! After I posted the thread, I went out and looked at it again; no way it presses on/off, and no pins, so I tried to unscrew the clutch plates using a wide channel lock pliers while retainint the flywheel and it unscrewed just as nice as you please! The threads are against the direction of rotation so it will never unscrew while running. Self-solved! :D
