My son is trying to fix his grandmothers ceiling fan switch and the switch he took off has 4 wires,2 black, 1 red & 1 green. On the back of the old switch #1-black, #2-green, #3-black, L-red. How do you know which black wire is the supply wire? The diagram on the back of the package of the new switch just shows A-load 1, B-load 2, C-load 3 and black supply, doesn't specify which black is the supply?
