well as the title says its a craftsmen 18 horse briggs and stratton with a hydrostatic tranny. i know a little about this kind of stuff as i do all the maintenace on my 450 dirt bike. but i do not know how to mod the engine to make go faster without blowing it up. if u have any idea please fill me in:thumbup:

There's not much you can do to make a hydro mower go fast. A little faster, maybe, but no a lot. You need a standard tranny, larger pulley on engine, smaller pulley on tranny. Leave the engine rpms be or it will blow up.
