Welcome to the forums Debbie!
What area do you live in? My first thought is lack of water. I live in the S.E. where we are in our 2nd yr of drought conditions. I've lost a dozen or so trees [mostly young] presumably from lack of water although all my mimosa trees seem to be doing ok.

Thanks for answering, I live in Sevierville tn. We have had rain not in a drought, that was last year. My tree was very full and blossomed well. Just all of a sudden it started to turn yellow and fall off. I do have a problem with the japanese beetles here on my crape myrtle also, use seven/eight and the bags. Any help I would appreciate

Hi Debbieb,
Mimosa vascular wilt has been a problem in the South East US.

Since mimosa is considered an invasive species, you may want to consider removing it and planting something that is resistant to the wilt in it's place.
