can i use aluminum wire for cables on a electric golf cart?

I would think the answer is yes, with these two caveats: Be sure the gauge is proper for the purpose, and use Al/Cu connectors on the ends to prevent corrosion.

You can,but they are very prone too corrosion. I tried it, and even with lots of wd40,(I kept them spayed down) it still didn't take long for them to rot away. Copper is the best thing to use. It last so much longer.All of my cables are copper now.
