I have a DSC PC1550 that is working fine, the only thing is that it only has an indoor siren, I'm looking to wire in speakers and place them in my attic vents to alert neighbors when I am away. Is this possible to do myself, I've open the control panel and found where the seirin is wired, can I just attach the additional speaker wires to this connection?

Actually, it uses a 12 volt siren output, but yes, you can add additional sirens as long as you stay within the current limits of the panel output. (For this panel is about 1 amp. Your current siren probably draws about 350mA)

Thank you for the response, I understand, but to make sure, as long as the speakers I add, along with the current sierens' total amp is 1 or less I won't overload the circuit correct?

Yes, as long as the total _siren_ load is not greater than 1 amp, you are fine.

Thanks for the help and info, now I'll get some speakers and try it out.
