I just started removing wallpaper from my bathroom; I soaked it a bit and it peeled right off. Now for the next step: the walls underneath are all yellow and gritty with what I assume is residual paste--how do I get the walls ready for painting?
Thanks

Keep soaking the walls. Use a grill green scrunger or equivalent to wash off all and I mean 100% of the paste/glue. Then patch any imperfections. Sand smooth. Prime and finish two coats of a Bath Paint. Sherwin Williams has this that really lasts under heavy daily showering. Highly recommended! :)
