Hello,

i have two small stains in our carpet, which is beige/tan colored...its probably 2 weeks old...when it was originally spilled i used oxyclean spray stain spot stuff so i figured it wouldnt actually stain the carpet but it did. I have used our carpet steam cleaner twice now and i can still see the stain.

is there anything that i could possibly try to get this stain out??

i have tried salt water and windex both and scrubbing it. which helped some...its not as bright as it was.

any suggestions are welcome!

at this point all the chems that you have tried may have set the stain...i would suggest never using the windex..it wasnt designed for carpet use..it has blue dyes in it..which could go into the unused dye sites in your carpet

i would suggest calling a professional carpet cleaner...if it was a cool aid type stain..they will have to flush out everything that you have tried to remove and then apply a reducing agent..such as red relief or red rescue are 2 products that i have used presonally and have proven to be good
