The Kentico system is in and working. now we have a few questions. What laundry soap should we use? Same for dishwasher(it is clogged with 10 years of hard water) same for soap for shower and shampoo. what products are recommended now that we have soft water.
Also, whats the best way to get the built up lime etc off shower heads?
And I have to get the dishwasher working again. what is the best stuff to use to remove the hard water stains, gunk and stuff plugging holes in washer arms? I can rip it all down and clean it rather than buying a new one, but what is best product to use? washing machine is only 2 years old so its not had performance issues yet.

One of the most important things do as far as soaps and detergents is, to use much less or fewer. For dishes and laundry, look for cleansers low in phosphates and silicates. These chemical surfactants aid the small amount of soap in the detergent to lather and separate dirty for surfaces.
Ivory soap (99.44% pure) can be an economical and effective.
I use a device for my laundry that avoids using any soaps or detergents at all, in addition to using no hot water. But that's another story.
First soak showerheads , etc., in a mild acid solution like vinegar. For the cost of some fixtures, it may prove worthy just to replace them. Some damage is beyond acceptability or repair.
