I have a problem with wooden bi-fold doors t0 my laundryroom closet. The doors were ok until we got new rugs. When the doors were put back on the one door does not close properly. It sticks out about a 1/2 at the bottom and then when it gets to the top it fits.

Could you please give me some advise how to fix this problem? It has (pivots?) next to the door frame top and bottom and another one on the top were the door meets the other door .

The bottom bracket should have a series of slots to allow the bottom of the door to be placed closer to the jamb or farther away from the jamb. Enough space must be left to allow the edge of the door to pivot past the jamb when opening and closing. The bracket at the top slides in the track and is also adjustable from the inside.
