I want to do the tissue paper technique on my bathroom walls, but I have a question and possible problem:alarm: , I live in a trailer, and the walls are not like regular walls. They are like the wallbaords you get at lowes, just a little thicker, and they are covered with some kind of wallpaper that doesn't come off. I have primed and painted many walls, but the walls here just seem to repel the paint, it chips and peels, does anyone know a way to keep the stuff on there??????
Please, I am a makeover fool, I can't stand for something to look old and shabby, please, please, help me......:wall:

Welcome to the forums!
After a thorough cleaning, coat the walls with a solvent based primer [pigmented shellac would be best but it's extra stinky ] Most any good latex paint will adhere to the primer when dry.
