I'm rather new at do-it-yourself home improvement, however, the fixtures in my guest bathroom are outdated - bright brassy gold. I have the know-how to change the faucets, shower heads, etc., what I need to know is 'Can the bright brassy moulding around the shower door/tile wall be changed or does the entire piece (glass and all) have to be replaced?

Any information and/or guidance on this subject will be greatly appreciated.
