My new 5600 Fleck control valve is not working or there's another problem. I don't have any soft water and noted the brine tank is empty. I believe my timer is working and ran two cycles and the brine tank is still empty. Any idea what is going on? Shouldn't the brine tank be full and is this related to not having soft water?

I found the problem and fixed it.... I think.. The cable that runs to the impellar was disconnected..
