Furniture, Wood and Cabinetry Finishing - All White Banister- needs to compliment the cabnets

I am moving into a brand new home (hopefully sometime soon) and we are off to the design center on Wednesday- We are picking out the cabinets which will be a cinnamon color with a finer finish so the grain isn't as pronounced....

The home director already picked out our stair rail to be all white- however, I'm not sure with the "deeper" themes of the home that it is going to match well.

Now the wood cannot be stained, as it is not the correct wood type- it is already being painted white.

I was considering perhaps painting the handrail a deep color while leaving the posts and floor trim white- if that makes sense? But is that going to look ridiculous?
:confused: But the white doesn't accent the home properly.

Don't exactly know the look you're after, but many oder homes had painted balusters while the handrail was stained a very dark color.

If the cabinets and the rail are not in a direct line of sight to each other you can pretty much use whatever color combination pleases you.
